About Summerlin
The Villages in Summerlin North has the most mature neighborhoods and villages. There are two Tournament Players Club (TPC) courses in Summerlin North. The most prestigious of the two is the private country club TPC Summerlin and is one of the most prestigious golf courses in Las Vegas and hosts the annual PGA Shriners Open tournament every year. Summerlin North also is the hub for the arts and is home to the Nevada Ballet Theater and Academy and the Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Theater.
The villages of Summerlin North include The Arbors, The Canyons, The Crossing, The Hills which includes Corta Bella, The Hills South, Eagle Hills and Tournament Hills, The Canyons, The Pueblo, Reverence, and The Trails. Reverence built by Pulte is the only village with new construction nestled against the foothills of the Spring Mountains on the west side of the 215. The retirement community of Sun City Summerlin is located in Summerlin North as well encompassing 2400 acres with 7779 homes, three golf courses, and four rec centers. It is the largest retirement community in the state of Nevada.
The Villages of Summerlin South include Red Rock Country Club, The Ridges, The Summit Club, The Willows, The Gardens, The Mesa, The Cliffs, the Retirement communities of Siena, Trilogy, and Regency. There is an abundance of new construction and Luxury Custom Guard Gated Communities in Summerlin South with a predominance of Dessert Contemporary Architecture. The Summit Club is a is a 555 acre Discovery Land Company Community with 150 custom home sites priced from $3 million to $12 million and 78 club residences from $6-$12 million. It has a Fazio private Golf Course in the center of its development and is arguably the most exclusive ultra luxury golf resort community in the Greater Las Vegas Area.
The Villages of Summerlin West covers 5100 acres and abuts the Red Rock National Conservation Area. It has over 800 acres of open space with trails rec centers, parks and award winning public and charter schools. There are three existing villages, The Paseos, The Vistas and Stonebridge the newest village with many more to come. Roughly 5000 remaining acres to develop in Summerlin West which including future villages Redpoint and Redpoint Square at Far Hills. Summerlin West expects to be developing for at least 20 more years. Summerlin West has a large collection of new builds to choose from, too many great national builders to list. Summerlin West is north of West Charleston and west of the 215 beltway.
